Located in the Haitang Bay, Sanya City, Wuzhizhou Island is 30 km (18.6 miles) away from the downtown area. Since Sanya Phoenix International Airport and an expressway are nearby, travel to and from the island is easy. Wuzhizhou Island has an area of 1.48 square kilometers (365.7 acres), and the coastline extends 5.7 km (3.5 miles). The east, south, and west are occupied by hills. In the south, the peak of the island rises 79.9 m (262 feet) above sea-level. The middle of the island is covered by dense forests and green meadows, while crystal waves wash the white sandy beaches to the north. On this island, thousands of aboriginal plants bloom everywhere, especially Alsophila Spinulosa which dates back to the Age of Dinosaurs, and Dracaena Angustifolia - the longest surviving plant on the Earth. The clean seawater surrounding the island provides a comfortable environment for colorful sea creatures, such as the Great Green Turban, sea cucumbers, sea urchins, lobsters and corals. Welcome to China for Guangzhou fair. HRC is pleasure to provide hotels in Guangzhou booking, China Tour Guide and Indochina tour packages for you.

Wuzhizhou Island is also fringed with excellent marine life in all directions such as sea cucumbers, lobsters, echinus, pomfret, sierra, luminous whelk and other vibrant and colorful tropical fishes. Plus, the visibility from 6 to 27 meters does not hurt the eyes either. Such water conditions are perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving. Dive outlets can be found on the island where you can rent diving gear and underwater cameras. You can also enjoy other water sports including surfing, sailing, canoeing, banana boat riding, parasailing, windsurfing, beach ATV and motorboat riding.
Underwater, color fishes, brilliant coral reefs, seaweeds and other marine creatures in great variety offer a unique and beautiful underwater sight when diving into neritic seabed world.
Now, this island has fallen victim to it's popularity. Water is less clear and fish less plentiful than before, so choose dates and times to maximize visibility when visiting. Scuba diving will cost around 400-500 RMB.
